In a commendable step towards promoting hygiene, safety, and dignity for female students, the Rotary Club of Siliguri Uttorayan inaugurated a newly-constructed women’s toilet at Tarabari High School on July 8.
This vital initiative aims to encourage continued education among girl students by ensuring access to basic sanitation facilities. It aligns with the objectives of national missions like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, reinforcing the club’s commitment to social upliftment.
Club leaders including Immediate Past President Rtn. Brij Mohan Garg, President Rtn. Dr. A.K. Jha, Secretary Rtn. Rajiv Ranjan Ojha, and former District Governor Rtn. Piyush Kanti Roy were present at the inauguration.
